To wrap up Linus’ birthday weekend, we took Linus to Disneyland for the first time. Everyone had lots of fun, and Linus got to see Woody in the flesh. If you don’t know, he’s pretty obsessed with the Toy Story movie right now. 嫲嫲 got him a Buzz Lightgear toy and he clutched it and Harvey the whole walk from Disneyland to the parking lot. He got to play all day was so exhausted he fell asleep in the stroller which he NEVER does. Buzz fell out of the stroller in the end when he was asleep but Harvey stayed clutched in his hand. I guess Harvey isn’t getting replaced just yet.

December – Linus turn’s 18 months
Linus turns 18 months! That’s a year and a half! Big boy now, not a little baby anymore.
Linus blows out the candle all by himself! This is his first time!
July/August/September Update
So, I’ve been lacking in the updating department. Bad bad bad!
So here’s what happened in the past few months in no particular order:
- We went to vegas!
- Linus went to the zoo and met a gorilla.
- We met the pony at the petting zoo.
- Linus went to his first baseball game.
- We celebrated birthdays with Julian, Raymond, Lillian, and Alton哥哥 .
- We had Korean BBQ with 爷爷 and 嫲嫲
- We started a vegetable garden (that the dog then dug up, but we’ll start it again!)
Linus learned to use a spoon. Here’s him feeding BaBa.
Linus says, “Get OUT!”
Linus has his first taste of icecream and learns to nod “Yes!”
Our little Picasso paints his first painting.
Linus slides the big slide at Alton’s party.
Whew! That was a lot of work for me. It was a fun summer!
I will try to be more regular with the updates from this point on. Try being the operative word.

Linus is so lucky to have these Grandparents, Aunties and Uncles, cousins, and friends who love and care about him. We would like to thank everyone for coming to Linus’ first birthday party and celebrating with us.

Linus turns ONE!
My little baby is one years old now. This was the fastest year of my life. He loves oranges and smoothies and cars. Everything becomes a toy car and when he drives his cars he goes, “buuuu buuu buuuu”. My little speed demon. He knows how to say 妈妈 奶奶 and 走走. He loves to go on his morning walks with PoPo to see the peacock. He still loves to flap his arms and say “a-jijiji!” He’s full of smiles and rarely cries. He truly is my little bundle of joy.
Mommy made Linus birthday pancakes. Yum!
He got some sweet new wheels from Mommy and BaBa.
And he got to eat as much cake as he wanted. He didn’t know what to do with it, and was just confused and upset by the whole scenario. Poor baby.
10 months – The world is too exciting to stay still!
My little boy is 10 months old and a speed demon. He crawls so fast and can’t stay still. He can clap, bounce, and wave. He LOVES eating strawberries and yogurt. He consistently babbles “mamama” “bababa” and “dadada”. When he’s pissed off, he says “a-jijiji”.
At 9 months, Linus had just gotten his first tooth. At 10 months, Linus has 8 teeth. Look at those two big front teeth when he flashes a smile!
First Haircut
We decided to give Linus a haircut – just those final few baby hairs that hadn’t fallen out yet, it was time to cut them so I could save them in the baby book. Isn’t my big baby a cutie?
And here’s the video of the actual haircut. Daddy had unsteady hands so Mommy had to do it.
Linus learns to climb stairs
Today Linus had a super fun time playing with 哥哥 and 姐姐. He was so excited that he followed them everywhere – even the stairs! As they climbed up, Linus followed.
First tooth!
Linus’ first tooth finally broke through! A few days before 9 months and my little baby is toothless no more.
