Jacques Vermeulen joins Exeter Chiefs from Sharks on three-year deal

Jacques Vermeulen has already signed up a deal with the Gallagher Premiership runners-up Exeter Chiefs of last season.
The 24-year-old, who can play at flanker or lockjoins from Southern African Super Rugby facet the Sharks.
Vermeulen is the next South African to join Exeter this summer, after the catch of Jannes Kirsten, who’ll share a home.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to visit a world-class club such as Exeter Chiefs,” Vermeulen informed the Chiefs’ official website.
“Now , I feel just like a small boy again, really excited about the challenge and being a part of the group.
“I have watched a great deal of matches on TV and I saw Sandy Park is constantly complete on game days. The team itself plays very good rugby and that I can not wait to become part of the vibe of the group, studying the culture and also doing my best to get the team.”
Vermeulen has already arrived on Saturday in Devon ahead of the Chiefs’ Premiership Rugby Cup clash with Bath.
“Hopefully it won’t take me too long to buy in the culture and following this, I only want to give it 100 per cent,” he explained.
